Paul is a Finance Professional with 15+ years of finance and FP&A experience. Paul earned a business bachelor's degree from BYU and an MBA and Master of Science in Information Management from Arizona State University.  is a Microsoft MVP for Excel, holds the FPAC certification from AFP, and the Advanced Financial Modeler designation from FMI, and serves as an instructor for Wharton Online's FP&A Certificate Program

Paul runs his own training and advisory business he started in 2022. During his career he has worked in several different industries, including the US Government, Travel Services, Finance, Automotive, Cyber Security, and more.

Paul has a strong background in financial planning, financial modeling, report building, and business partnering. He is known for his deep understanding of the FP&A software planning space and has published 3 software guides in the space including one on planning within Power BI. Paul is also an active content creator on LinkedIn and hosts three popular podcasts including FP&A Unlocked, Future Finance, and Financial Modeler's Corner. Paul is recognized as a global thought leader in the FP&A space.
